Sarah graduated with her Master’s in Mental Health and Rehabilitation counseling from the University of Arizona in 2017. During that time, they were a member of the University of Arizona’s wheelchair basketball team and completed an independent study on inclusive care for Intersex/DSD populations.  As a therapist, she has developed training, initiated policy change, and provided additional support for LQBTQIA+ populations. Sarah has been a member of multiple initiatives and taskforces to assist healthcare professionals with providing gender-affirming care and increasing mental supports for LGBTQIA+ populations. Sarah is the On-site Counselor at the LGBTQIA+ Resource Center. They are passionate about working with diverse populations to support positive health outcomes, decrease barriers to access, and supporting individuals in achieving their goals. She enjoys gardening, playing sports, and DIY projects.  Aiden (service dog in the picture) also graduated with his Master’s in 2017.  He enjoys long naps during session, carrots, and empty water bottles.
