The 18th Annual LGBTQ2S & Allied Graduation Celebration hosted by LGBTQ+2S Resource Center

When: Tuesday, May 13, 2025, 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Where: Stevie Eller Dance Theatre!

This festive end-of-the-year celebration will provide personal recognition for the achievements of LGBTQIA2S (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Two-spirit) people at UArizona. Rainbow Graduation is open to all 2025 graduating undergraduates, graduates, or professional school students to show their fabulous wildcat pride!

If you would like to be recognized in Rainbow Graduation 2025 Celebration, the registration link is now LIVE and you can register at the link above! You will be asked the following information (although not all is required!)

  1. Your name as you'd like it to appear in the presentation
  2. Major(s)
  3. Graduating degree(s)
  4. Any leadership positions you have held 
  5. Favorite memory
  6. Photo for the slideshow!

Please fill out the form by May 6th by 5pm (or sooner if you can)! Please make sure to include all of the requested information!

Rainbow Graduation Awards Nominations

During Rainbow graduation, we take the time to recognize folks from all over campus for their generous contributions and commitments to LGBTQ+2S students at the University of Arizona.  Award winners are selected from your nominations by a group of dedicated LGBTQ Center staff! Nominations are open and due April 23rd 2025

The categories are as follows: 

  1. Fabulous Faculty Award
    This is a professor, instructor, or advisor who goes above and beyond to support LGBTQ+ students
  2. Staff Member of the Year Award
    This is a university staff member who goes above and beyond to support LGBTQ+ students.
  3. Queer Icon of the Year Award
    This is a STUDENT whose leadership, values, and friendship make them stand out among peers.
  4. Queer Legend of the Year Award 
    This is a STUDENT ACTIVIST who has made ripples in organizing efforts for LGBTQ+ students
  5. Intern of the Year
    This is a Pride Alliance intern who has shown outstanding passion, interest, and leadership throughout the internship.
