The LGBTQ+2S Resource Center has a site-based counselor, we provide referrals to other services at UA's Counseling and Psych Services (CAPS), and we have support groups. Please email staff or talk to us if you have questions or need anything. 

Meet Sarah (she/her), the LGBTQ+2S Affairs site-based counselor

Her office is located on the 4th floor of the student union within the LGBTQ+2S Resource Center in room 404. 

Sarah can provide:

  • Free, gender-affirming, confidential consultation and short term counseling appointments
  • Groups and workshops
  • Answer questions about counseling and psychiatry services on campus and in the community

  • Sarah's summer 2024 hours are Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm 
  • Monday and Friday: remote
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: in-person at the LGBTQ+2S Resource Center

Gender Third Space

Starting September 9th, this group meets every Monday 4-5pm and is facilitated by our CAPS liaison, Momo (they/them). It is meant for trans and gender non-conforming students to connect and discuss topics related to gender.

Connecting with Pride 

Starting September 11th, this group meets every Wednesday from 4-5 pm and is facilitated by our CAPS liaison, Momo (they/them). This is a chance to connect with other LGBTQ+2S students and talk about queer topics.
