Safe Zone Training Registration
The Safe Zone Training introduces University of Arizona community members to the identities and experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) people.
The Safe Zone Training is now fully online, and all learning materials are on D2L (Desire to Learn). This training is multimedia, incorporating videos, discussion boards, and online assessments. Part one of the training is the General Education Workshop and part two is the Ally Development Workshop. Each workshop takes about 2.5 hours to complete. Participants must have completed the General Education Workshop to be able to register for the Ally Development Workshop. After completing the General Education Workshop participants will receive a Safe Zone Network Digital Badge. After completing the Ally Development Workshop participants receive a physical placard to put on their door or at their desk.
At this time the Safe Zone Training does not have any scheduled summer workshops. We will resume with more updates on the training program in the fall semester of August 2020. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rachel Greene at email@example.com.
