Come by and learn about what’s going on this year at the Institute for LGBT Studies and potential opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to become involved with the Institute. Pride Service 2016

Please join us for "Sanctuary", the eighth annual Multi-Faith PRIDE Service at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church. An evening with speakers, music and readings to provide "sanctuary" to seeking souls.

Hosted by the legendary Lucinda Holliday and the incomparable Tempest DuJour, Tucson Pride's main stage will feature an amazing line-up of talent from across our city and across the nation! Cost is $10 for students and $12 for regular admission at the gate.
Coming Out Week Resource Fair

This fair will be presented as part of a week-long celebration for National Coming Out Day in order to bring clubs, organizations, and community resources together at UA.

Black & Pink Letter Writing
Monday, October 10, All Day, LGBTQ Resource Center
Black & Pink is an organization that provides an avenue to incarcerated LGBTQIA folks through a pen pal/letter writing program. The LGBTQ Resource center will provide paper and postage to students who want to write letters to these individuals to offer support and help encourage community.
National Coming Out Day

Every year on National Coming Out Day, we celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) or as an ally.
Kit Yan's Queer Heartache - A Slam Poetry Performance
Wednesday, October 12, 6:30pm, Gallagher Theater
Kit’s poetry explores his identity as transgender, queer, Asian American from Hawaii, while asking what queer hearts and families are made of and interrogating the forces that are constantly working to break them apart. Queer Heartache is a testament to the resilience of queer love in all its forms—between cis and trans siblings, lovers, pride parade attendees, and many more—in the face of heartbreaking barriers everywhere from the dating pool to the medical establishment.
