Sasha Russon

Graduate Assistant: Internship Supervisor

Sasha Russon is the Graduate Assistant: Internship Supervisor for the Office of LGBTQ Affairs. Sasha leads the Pride Alliance Internship program which is structured to provide valuable leadership and professional development opportunities to UA students who are passionate about Social Justice and LGBTQ+ programming. Sasha also serves as an Intern Therapist at Living Out Loud Health and Wellness Center, which provides comprehensive health care services to Pima County’s LGBTQ+ Communities. Most recently, Sasha worked as a Graduate Assistant: Career Coach providing career planning assistance to University of Arizona undergraduates, graduates, and alumni. 

Sasha earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, and is currently working toward a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. Sasha is committed to building a lifelong practice of cultural humility and mindful reflection in service to others. 

Sasha is supported at home by a loving partner in life Jai, and three wonderful animal companions Indy, Charles Philip Arthur George, and Camila.
