"The Take Charge Cats located in the Norton School of Family and Consumer Sciences are hiring for the 2017-2018 school year. Our undergraduate students teach personal finance workshops to middle and high school students in the Tucson community.

The Victory Institute will bring outstanding LGBTQ college students to Washington, D.C., for an intensive leadership program, including a Congressional internship with an LGBT-friendly member of Congress.
The program includes a generous stipend, housing in D.C., placement in a congressional internship and travel to/from Washington, D.C., as well as travel and registration to the LGBT Leaders 2017 Conference.

The University of Arizona Alternative Breaks organization has some available spots on our Spring Weekend and Spring Break trips! As a University of Arizona student, you could participate in the following trips:
Spring Break Trips (March 11th-18th):
Coastal Restoration- Miami FL (2 SPOTS AVAILABLE) $700 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will be working with both Biscayne National Parkland Everglades National Park. Participants will be focusing on habitat restoration of sea turtle nesting beaches and other sensitive coastal areas.
Affordable Housing- Dallas TX (4 SPOTS AVAILABLE) $200 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will be working with Habitat for Humanity in the Dallas area.
Labor Trafficking (San Diego). Participants may also have the opportunity to work alongside the families that Habitat for Humanity serves.
Women's Rights- San Francisco CA (1 SPOT AVAILABLE) $200 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will be working with multiple organizations working with women's rights issues. These may range from homelessness, poverty, youth development, domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.
Mental Health- Denver CO (4 SPOTS AVAILABLE) $200 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will mainly be working with the organization Chelsea's Place, which works with elders suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Participants will also spend a day cleaning up Columbine Memorial to get a different outlook on how mental illness effects our communities.
Labor Trafficking- San Diego CA (7 SPOTS AVAILABLE) $200 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will be working with the organization Border Angels. Some of the work participants can expect to do includes water drops, speaking with individuals affected by labor trafficking at Friendship Park and Chicano Park.
Weekend Trip (February 17th-19th):
Environment- Saguaro National Park, Tucson AZ (7 SPOTS AVAILABLE) $40 fee includes housing, all transportation and food
Participants will be working on trail work, trail brushing and possible rehabilitation projects within Saguaro National Park. This trip will also include informative nature walks, stargazing, sunset hikes, etc.
