LGBTQ Affairs provides support groups to people who need some support in their lives. Those include:
LGBTQA+ Support Group
Tuesdays 4-5:30pm in the SUMC Room 412 (4th Floor Conference Room)
This is a safe space for UA students, faculty, and staff to talk in an open and supportive environment about issues impacting their lives and the LGBTQA+ and Allied community.
Gender Spectrum Support Group
Mondays 3-4pm in the 3rd Floor Highland Commons, SE Corner
This is a support, therapy, and education group for UA students dealing with gender identity, gender dysphoria, and issues related to gender. There is a $5 a week charge, that can be billed to Bursar's
QPOC and Two-Spirit Discussion Group
Thursdays 5-6pm in African American Student Affairs (AASA)
This is a peer to peer discussion group that provides a safe environment to connect, share experiences, and show support for each other.

People are recruiting participants for a study examining the experiences of lesbian and bisexual women and their family relationships:
We are looking for lesbian or bisexual women (ages 18 and over) to participate in an online research study examining the influence of family relationships on sexual behavior and attitudes. Participants will complete an online questionnaire that takes about 35 to 45 minutes. This questionnaire will ask about your teenage years, your life now, and your family relationship history.

This study has been reviewed and approved by The University of Arizona Human Subjects Protection Program. Participation in this research is voluntary and is not required to enter into the raffle, and you may withdraw from the study at any time. Your responses to this research are strictly confidential. Those who complete the survey will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize drawing to win one of two $25 Amazon gift cards. Entries are limited to one per person, and participation is void where prohibited by law. Drawing takes place on January 22, 2016.
